The Library at Institute of Pharmacy and Science houses more than 11618 volumes of books selectively chosen for reading and reference, 469 CDs, 2202 Bound Volumes, 917 Project Reports (BPharm), 905 Research Project Reports (MPharm and MSc), 140 PhD Theses and subscribes about 27 printed national periodicals, 3 international periodicals, 23 magazines and 13 newspapers.
The library is also providing web access to 87 e-journals: Science Direct: Pharmacology, Toxicology and Pharmaceutical Sciences Module (87), Nature Weekly, Pharmacological Review and Scopus Database on campus.
The library has a rich collection of books and reference books that comprise various pharmacopoeias like Indian pharmacopoeia, British Pharmacopoeia, U.S. Pharmacopeia etc. The Library with an aim to provide access to the right information at the right time to all its users offers a package of high quality, user-focused services to support the learning & teaching.
The Library is offering services like library membership, circulation, reading facility, reference service, referral service, interlibrary loan facility, photocopy service, and book-bank service along with many value-added services like, computerized information search, current awareness services, selective dissemination of information (on-demand service), remote log-in facility, knowledge repository through DSpace and conduct few user education programme.
The library organizes other activities like Screening TED talks, book review, celebration of National and International Days, training of Zotero and Mendeley (Reference Management Software) to users etc.
